STOP-ANTI-FISCAL-CONSERVATIVE-SPENDING-MANDATES

HB 619 would mandate where municipalities can buy their steel for public works, driving up prices at the expense of the taxpayer. These mandates are anti-free trade and anti-fiscally conservative. It forces municipalities to budget not what is best for tax payers, but instead based on politics. Every dollar that the government spends, is a dollar that is taken from a taxpayer. This spends taxpayer dollars unnecessarily, taking away vital funds out of Floridians' pockets at an economically unstable time. 

At a time when Floridians are also still in the process of dealing with the Covid economy, and with inflation at its highest in 40 years, the government should look for ways to save people money and they should not spend even more of it.
